Whether you’re chasing big lines, chasing your kids, or chasing relief from stubborn pain—this is where you get answers. And if you’re someone who’s tried everything and still don’t feel right, I specialize in figuring out the stuff others miss.
I help outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, and everyday movers overcome pain, injuries, and performance plateaus using a unique blend of manual therapy, movement training, and applied neurology — often serving as the go-to physio alternative in Revelstoke.
My mission? To help you heal faster, move with confidence, and get back to doing what you love—stronger than before.

Osteopathy is a holistic, hands-on therapy that focuses on the deep relationship between structure, function, and the nervous system. I use a unique blend of manual techniques and applied neurology to restore alignment, improve mobility, reduce pain, and support full-body health. By working with muscles, joints, fascia, organs, and neural pathways, we address root causes—not just symptoms.
Osteopathy is also a great alternative to chiropractic for those seeking gentle, whole-body care beyond spinal adjustments. And I’m not your average osteo—you’ll leave with simple, targeted tools to speed up your recovery at home.
Athletic Therapy is your pathway to relieving pain and returning confidently to work or play. It’s designed for anyone recovering from acute or chronic injuries affecting muscles, joints, tendons, or the head—and it’s not just for athletes! I combine manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and applied neurology to accelerate pain relief, support recovery, and prevent further injuries — making it a powerful alternative to physio in Revelstoke.
I’ll help you build athleticism, move more efficiently, and reduce injury risk with personalized programs and coaching. My approach combines detailed assessments, movement analysis, goal setting, and neuro-based tools to support lasting strength, resilience, and performance—whether for sport, adventure, or everyday life.
Recover faster and reduce lingering symptoms with targeted, science-based care. Using advanced assessments and personalized rehab, we address the root causes—vision, balance, neck, and nervous system—to help you get back to sport, work, and life with confidence.
ICBC cases are fully covered under kinesiology, making expert care accessible when you need it most.
Didié (D.D.A.) Hamel-Jolette is a Certified Athletic Therapist, Manual Osteopathic Therapist, and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He helps people overcome pain, resolve stubborn concussion symptoms, and unlock better movement and posture—especially when nothing else has worked.
Based in Revelstoke, BC, Didié lives the mountain lifestyle. He’s a climber, backcountry skier, and all-around mountain mover—so he understands the frustration of being held back by pain, even when you’re doing everything “right.”
Through his 20s and early 30s, Didié battled persistent pain on his left side—neck, back, knee, foot. He kept training hard—weightlifting, soccer, skiing, running, climbing—while chasing recovery through stretching, foam rolling, yoga, meditation, and corrective exercises. He consulted respected practitioners across disciplines, from physios to osteopaths. Some helped for a while, but the pain always returned.
That frustration pushed him to study Athletic Therapy, and later Manual Osteopathy, where he found a systems-based, hands-on approach that aligned with how he felt the body should be treated. Osteopathy taught him to work with the body’s natural intelligence—to listen to structure, rhythm, and tension—not just chase symptoms.
The real breakthrough came in 2023, when he discovered Applied Neurology through Scott Livingston and Matt Bush. After just a few weeks of targeted neuro drills, he experienced his first two-month stretch without pain in years. When symptoms eventually crept back, he wasn’t discouraged—he was determined. This led him to complete a full program with Next Level Neuro, layering brain-based tools onto his osteopathic and movement background. That’s when everything clicked: structure and signal working together, body and brain in conversation.
From 2017 to 2020, Didié worked with high-performance athletes through the Canadian Sport Institute. From 2022 to 2024, he supported Canada’s National Triathlon Team leading up to the Paris Olympic Games.
Today, he brings that same high-level care to the community of Revelstoke and beyond—helping outdoor athletes and active locals recover faster, move better, and return to what they love. His integrated approach blends manual therapy, neuroscience-informed rehab, and performance coaching to deliver results that last.
Whether you’re chasing a summit, chasing your kids, or chasing relief from pain no one else has solved—he’s been where you are, and he’s here to help you move forward.

Athletic Therapy focuses on injury assessment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. It’s not just for athletes—anyone recovering from injury or wanting to move and feel better can benefit. Sessions often include movement assessments, manual therapy, and corrective exercise.
Osteopathy takes a holistic approach to the body, emphasizing how structure and function are interconnected. It uses gentle hands-on techniques to restore alignment, improve mobility, and reduce pain by addressing muscles, joints, fascia, organs, and the nervous system.
Physiotherapy is a broad field that overlaps with both. It’s often more focused on injury rehab, strengthening, and exercise-based recovery, sometimes supplemented with modalities (e.g. ultrasound, TENS).
Chiropractic primarily focuses on the spine and nervous system. Treatment often includes spinal adjustments and manipulations to restore mobility, reduce pain, and influence overall health.
👉 My approach blends elements of all these disciplines, plus applied neurology. That means you get the hands-on care of osteopathy, the rehab and performance focus of athletic therapy, the structured progression of physiotherapy, and the nervous-system focus of chiropractic—without being limited to a single method.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! I work with people from all walks of life—weekend warriors, outdoor enthusiasts, those recovering from workplace injuries, people managing chronic pain, or anyone wanting to move and feel better.
While the title can be misleading, Athletic Therapists are trained to help anyone recover from injury, reduce pain, and improve physical performance—not just athletes.
Whether your goal is to return to daily activities without pain, regain mobility, or push your performance to the next level, Athletic Therapy can make a difference.
Osteoptahy: Over 20 insurance companies cover CMMOTA Manual Osteopathic Therapist (MOT) in British Columbia or Alberta:
These three companies do NOT cover CMMOTA Manual Osteopathic Therapists:
Athletic Therapy: Some insurance companies in BC do cover Certified Athletic Therapy, including ICBC (under KINESIOLOGY), Hockey Canada, Manulife and other private insurers. However, Athletic Therapy may not be specifically mentioned (sometimes it falls under a section like ''Exercise Rehabilitation'') in the extended benefits literature from your employer or insurance provider. It’s best to contact your Health Plan administrator or Human Resources department to confirm whether Athletic Therapy is included in your coverage.
If Athletic Therapy isn’t part of your plan, you may have a Flex Health Spending Account or a similar option that could help cover these sessions.
Interested in adding Athletic Therapy to your plan? It may be as simple as a call to your insurance broker to combine it with other services, like Physiotherapy or Registered Massage Therapy.
Additionally, if you participate in an organized sport or activity, you might already be covered by organizations like AllSport Insurance or the Canadian Athlete Insurance Program (C.A.I.P.).
It really depends on your goals, the complexity of your issue, and your health priorities. Some people experience relief in just 1–2 sessions, while others benefit from a progressive treatment and rehab plan.
After your first visit, I’ll give you a clear recommendation tailored to your situation. Some clients prefer more frequent sessions for guidance, reassurance, or accountability, while others choose a minimal approach to fit their budget and schedule.
Ultimately, the pace is flexible—I’ll support you whether you’re looking for quick relief or a longer-term plan.
Some insurance companies allow direct billing for Osteopathy and Athletic Therapy. This is a case by case and I cannot promise your's will. If it doesn't, you will have to self submit to get reimbursed. This is an easy process with most companies.
I am able to provide direct billing for Athletic Therapy services for ICBC. You will have to submit your receipt to your insurer in order to receive a reimbursement.
Yes, I do provide virtual services for athletic therapy or strength & performance coaching. This allows clients to access my unique care even when they’re out of town or living outside Revelstoke.
